Dark Blood Book Review

This conclusion of the mini-trilogy is the 26th book in the Dark series by Christine Feehan. The book will follow Zev, a Lycan hunter who is changing into a creature that his people despise; a Lycan/Carpathian hybrid. While the Lycans call them Sange Rau, the Carpathians have chosen to call those with both bloods Guardians of all because they fight for all species Lycan, Carpathian, and human.

Zev is a man who takes his duties seriously and is mortally wounded protecting one of the Lycan council members, without the blood and healing of the Carpathians he would not have survived. Zev is bound to Bronnie of the dragonseekers, an ancient and powerful healer, who has sealed her fate to that of the Lycan hunter, much to the worry of her sister, Tatijana. Zev must find a way to make his people understand that not all those of mixed blood are evil like the Sange Rau or he and his life mate will be under a death sentence and hunted by the same pack that he once led.

The conclusion to the trilogy promises to be action packed with a hero and heroine every bit as strong as Ms. Feehan has introduced. Both characters have suffered Zev in his duty and service to his people and Bronnie in torture from her own grandfather. With the inner strength of a dragon seeker and the iron will honed through years of sacrifice and battle will this couple be able to help break an ingrained hatred and bring about an alliance between these two powerful races? Find out in Christine Feehan’s Dark Blood coming September 2014.
